I was nominated for the Out of This World Blogger Award by the amazing Maddie @ Munch Reviews. The award was recently created byKaleena @ Reader Voracious Blog. She created this award to recognize exceptional bloggers that are engaged in the community and publish excellent content.

- What (or who) inspires you and why?
I am in full agreement with Maddie on this one. I’m not sure how a new mother can have much more on their mind then their little one. My son inspires me every day from the moment I wake up in the morning and see his adorable little face smiling at me – all the horrible sleeping from the night before is immediately forgiven. LOL. He makes me want to work harder, be a better mother, & be a better person to look up too.
I am also crazy inspired by the rest of my blogging community! You guys are amazing and I always see amazing reviews and content and I can’t wait to join in or offer an opinion. I love it when we agree & when we disagree 😀
- What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I’m like a broken record sending praise out to this community but it is hands down the best part of blogging. I love that I am finding more time to read because I make it a higher priority now, but I live for reading my WordPress feed and hearing from all of you!
- If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be and why?
This is the hardest question! I’ve honestly never really felt the desire to be a fictional character because the ones I love the most generally had to overcome something pretty awful or are literally fighting for their lives every day…. not really my cup of tea… I suppose I’d be the heroine in a cute contemporary romance because those always end happily and the worst thing I have to worry about is whether or not the really hot guy likes me (and of course he does!) 😀
- If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you do with the time?
Travel. Easiest question in this quiz. The hard part is where would I go?? If there are truly no financial constraints, I’m pretty sure I could come up with a pretty stellar round the world trip.
- What is one piece of advice that you would give a new blogger?
I would say to make sure to connect with your community! Find like minded bloggers and follow and reach out. Of course creating new content is important but start slow (I wish I started a little slower!!) and make sure to set aside some time to read other people’s work and like and comment. Generally, when you find someone you really like, they’ll spend time on your blog too which will immediately make you feel like you’re doing something right. That’s the inspiration that will help you keep going!
- Optional: Freebie question – share something with us!
I am leaving to visit my in-laws on the Jersey shore tomorrow. So wish me luck for the 4 hour plane ride with a 9 month old 😀 I’m excited to see the beach and eat ice cream on the boardwalk. Hopefully, I’ll still be able to keep up with following everyone but if you notice me disappear for a few days, that’s why.
Happy Reading everyone ❤
