Happy July everyone!
Here is a quick recap of my month:
- I’m starting to get the hang of this blogging thing. Yes, with the summer and inevitably spending more time traveling or outside with my family, I’ve slowed down slightly. But, I’m still reading and writing and having fun talking to you guys a couple times a week.
- We went to New Jersey for a week at the beginning of June. My baby was such a trooper on the airplane both ways. He makes friends literally everywhere he goes. I loved going to the boardwalk and eating ice cream and playing skeeball. Even though it was a little chilly, we still made it down the beach. I shared this picture before but it is one of my favorites, so I’m putting it here in case you missed it last time.
Read in June:
I read 11 books last month which is really incredible for me!
If the picture has a link, it will take you to my review. I read a handful of books that I haven’t done reviews for yet but I hope to get those up in the next week or two. 🙂
FAVORITES: The Bird & the Blade & Jar of Hearts
On To July!
Damn girl, 11 books?!? How do you do that you super momma?!
P.s. what a cute picture of you guys!! You have such a handsome little guy!

I know – the laundry has piled up and the dishes are waiting in the sink for me to start being more responsible and stop reading so much 😀

I remember when everyone was freaking because An Ember in the Ashes was being advertised as “a stand alone fantasy”. Ha! I predicted that was a lie the second they released the page count, lmao

Yep! They knew what they were doing before they released it – the first book is most definitely NOT resolved. It would never have worked as a standalone
