WWW Wednesday – July 18, 2018

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words, the rules are simple you just have to answer these three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

This was my BOTM for July and my first Naomi Novik. ❤

Recently Finished Reading:

36040535  36260157

Well A Reaper at the Gates was everything I was expecting and more. And What If It’s Us was wonderful as well. I’m going to hold off on the official review until closer to the release date but I was charmed.

What I Think I’ll Be Reading Next:

35720690 35297272 29748925

I am actually part of the Heart of Thorns blog tour next week so that one is up next for sure. After that Emergency Contact just came in from the library a couple days ago. But most of all I’m ANXIOUS to finally read Strange the Dreamer

Happy Reading everyone!! ❤

    1. So far Spinning Silver is really good & I’m hoping to finish it this weekend if I can find some nice blocks of time to read. Have you read Naomi Novik before? This is my first….

I need to sit down and write my What If It’s Us review this weekend as well. I really loved it. ❤

    1. So far it is pretty good! Had you read anything by Naomi Novik before? This is my first. Although it is loooong so it’ll definitely take me longer than usual to read it. Hopefully I finish this weekend.

Do you like Uppercase? I’m searching for some more book mail 😀

      1. No, I haven’t read anything by Naomi Novik before! This one will be my first too!

Uppercase is okay. I haven’t been the biggest fan of the majority of the bookish items (I feel like they’re more for actual young adults), but there’s also an option to get just the book. The biggest problem for me is that I read a lot of YA ARCs and I get a lot of YA new releases from my library, so I’d already read the book that was in three of the last four boxes. I got a year-long subscription for Christmas and it was a great present, but I don’t think I’ll buy another year for myself. Now I’m looking at other boxes I might be interested in. 🙂

      2. Yeah – that’s my problem with subscription boxes too! I’ve usually already somehow acquired a lot of the books (either with an ARC or through the library like you). I need the option to pick and book or a box that sends out stuff that is a little more under the radar??

  1. I can’t wait to see what you think of spinning silver! I’ve been hearing many different things about it.
I really need to get to strange the dreamer. I’ve had it physically in my shelf waiting for me for.. Probably 2 years or something! I should really read it. 😕

    1. Ahhh!! Spinning Silver is pretty good so far. It is dense! I LOVE the story but so far I feel like it could have been improved with a little editing. I don’t think it needs to be 500 pages long 😀

Me too about Strange the Dreamer! It has been sitting in my bookshelf for months just staring at me!

  2. I’m looking forward to reading your review of What If It’s Us! I finished Emergency Contact last month and I thought it was enjoyable. Strange the Dreamer has been on my TBR for so long, I would like to read it soon too. I hope you enjoy your next reads 🙂

      1. You’re welcome! I feel the same way, I haven’t gotten nearly as much reading done this week as I would’ve liked too 😦 I hope you get to everything you want to in the upcoming weeks 🙂
