I am incredibly behind on my tags (this one is from June, guys!), but I hope to catch up over the next week or so, so get ready for a lot!
The absolutely incredible Hamad @ The Book Prescription nominated me for this award & asked me some questions. Thank you thank you thank you for all the love!! Don’t forget to follow Hamad if you don’t already! He rocks!
Okay… here are the rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you and give a link to their blog. (see above 🙂 )
- Answer the questions you are asked.
- Nominate few other bloggers for the award and inform them.
- Create ten interesting questions to be answered by them.
1. Superman vs Batman?
I’m so sorry Hamad… I just don’t know. I feel like I can’t give you a good answer for this one because I don’t know very much about Superman or Batman. If I have to pick, I guess I would say… Batman?? … He seems to be a little darker and mysterious. He has a cool hidden cave & I liked the Lego movie 😀
2. Do you know what personality type do you have (16 personality test)?
Indeed. I do…
PROTAGONIST PERSONALITY (ENFJ, -A/-T)
When I first read this I thought it was ridiculous… but then it said I’m like Elizabeth Bennett & I decided I could live with that 🙂
3. What is your horoscope?
Today??… Let me Google…
*Jul 19, 2018 – You could feel restless and anxious to get out in the open for a while today, Aquarius, but mundane tasks could force you to postpone it. Someone you care about might ask for a favor, and while you may not want to help this person, you probably will. Don’t let your irritation show – just get it done quickly and accept the person’s thanks. In the evening, go for a long walk under the stars.
This actually seems accurate enough. I’d love to go for a walk but I have to work… bummer. And I’m sure when my husband gets home he’ll tell me to clean up the kitchen so he can make dinner. I won’t want to, but the horoscope is right again, I probably will…
4. What was your last 1 star rating?
I don’t actually give a lot of books one star. It looks like on Goodreads the last time I gave a 1 star rating was in 2012 when I read The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling.
5. A book you think is over-hyped?
Game of Thrones. I’m not saying they’re horrible, but come on! There is some really great fantasy out there from authors who actually WRITE. I think all the fame and $$ has made George R.R. Martin into a bigger tool box then he already was. #sorrynotsorry
6. A book that is underrated?
I’m just going to keep pushing The Bird and the Blade on people until the whole world has read it and Megan Bannon has a movie deal 🙂
7. What is a genre that you don’t read?
I’ve been asked this before and it is hard for me to come up with an answer because I’m pretty much open to reading anything if it is recommended to me or if it sounds interesting. I think I said “self help” before so that’s what I’ll stick with here too.
8. What is a feature you’d like to have in your blog?
I would love it if my blog deposited $$$ in my bank account every time I made a post. LOL.
9. What is your favorite book cover?
This year? I love these:
Sadly… I haven’t read either 😦
10. I am running out if questions, imagine a question you’d like to be asked and answer it!
I will answer one of Sara’s questions:
Paperback, hardcover, or ebook?
I was actually a pretty early passenger on the e-book train. I still have one of the first ancient block Kindles with the keyboards on the bottom of them 🙂 (… Don’t worry, I have a pretty new one that I use now.) I do love physical books because books are beautiful things but for the convenience, I mostly read on my Kindle. The exception is library books. Probably at least 50% of what I read is from the library & while I know that digital options are available, I prefer going INTO the library and picking up/dropping off. It is one of the highlights of my week.
Thanks again Hamad!
Have a wonderful week, ya’ll 🙂
