7 Things About Me

  1. Since I had my baby almost one year ago, I’ve watched exactly three movies: Jumanji (2017); Love, Simon; and just yesterday we managed to get through a whole movie while the baby napped. My poor boyfriend wanted to watch Thor but I made him sit through To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix 😀
  2. I LOVE peanut butter but in a deplorable F*** You from the universe, my son is allergic 😦 So I haven’t eaten any peanut butter in months and I’ve got years of a peanut free life a head of me…
  3. On a more positive note: I still have biscuits and honey ❤
  4. I want to try and do Nanowrimo this year… Anyone else out there going to attempt this?? I’ve participated for the last 5-6 years but I’ve only “won” once.
  5. A few days ago, we took my son to the zoo for the first time. He is 11 months old so we weren’t really expecting him to really be into it but he surprised us. He LOVED the fish and the bats most of all!zoo.JPG
  6. I love camping and the outdoors. I’m a Colorado girl through and through.
  7. I can’t wait for Halloween!!

  1. Congrats on this award! I also watched To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before yesterday and it was so cute, I loved it! I recently finished reread the first book in the series (I first read it 3-4 years ago) and I can’t wait to read the second and third book!
I wish I loved the outdoors as much as you haha! I don’t like camping because the mosquitos ugh 😂
This was a great post ❤️

That stinks about peanut butter but your son is so cute!! He looked so happy with the fishies! I don’t blame him, I love the aquarium!!

  3. Hahaha! That’s one cute picture of your baby! I went to the zoo with a friend and her little boy ages ago and we were so excited to show him the gorilla but there was a squirrel in the enclosure so guess which one he was more interested in?!

Usually I do NaNoWriMo but am on honeymoon for the entire month of November so can’t do it this year. It’s become very addictive so I’m a bit bummed out to miss it especially as this is the first year that I’m part of a book community! I’ve only won it once but then I’ve only done it twice!

    1. I thought To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was adorable!! ❤ But Love, Simon kind of let me down. I just thought the book was so much better and some of the changes they made bothered me (particularly with regards to Simon's friends becoming asses). HALLOWEEN is the best! I need to come up with some costumes stat!! 😀

  4. LOL the amount of movies I’ve watched since baby is ridiculous!! I’ve been so lucky with a super napper and super sleeper that I’m worried the next one will be a demon baby haha

And I too would be so sad about the lack of PB in my life… 💔 but we do it for the babes.

    1. You are a lucky one!! Wes just started sleeping really really well at night (knock on wood, LOL). We actually watched Thor and Infinity Wars in the last two days. haha. I’m catching up!!

PB is just so great. Luckily he can have almonds so we are an almond butter household… it just isn’t the same but of course I’d do anything for him ❤

  5. Thank you so much for tagging us!!! Camping is the *best* and I feel your life without peanut butter struggle. I wasn’t allergic as a kid but when I went to college suddenly my body was like “JK your favorite food will now kill you.” The struggle is real!
